Photo and video policy

Fairs are public, busy places, and good photos help people decide whether to go. To keep it fair to everyone in them:

• Only upload photos and videos you took, or that the person who took them agreed you could share.
• Focus on the horses, the trading and the atmosphere. If a person is the clear subject of a photo, ask them first.
• Do not upload photos where a child can be clearly identified unless you are their parent or guardian or have that person's permission.
• No content showing injury, cruelty or distress to animals, or anything that would embarrass or endanger someone.
• Videos can be up to 2 minutes long. Photos are resized to 1200 pixels and their location data is removed before upload.

Every photo and video is checked by a moderator before it appears. Anyone shown in a photo can ask for it to be removed using the Report link under it. We act on privacy reports first.
