Accessibility statement

Last updated 29 October 2026

We want HorseFairs.ie to be usable by everyone, including outdoors on a small phone in bright light. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

• Text uses Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for low-vision readers, and colours meet AA contrast.
• Everything works with a keyboard, with visible focus, and with screen readers.
• The calendar also has a plain list of each month's fairs.
• Animation is kept to a minimum and switches off if your device asks for reduced motion.

Known limits

Community videos may not have captions. Maps are an extra: every listing also gives the address, Eircode and a directions link.
